Taylor Mountain because reasons
Because we had a difficult time getting our operation off the ground this morning we ended up just taking a short jaunt up and down Taylor Mountain today. For those of you who don't know Taylor Mountain is located just out past the fairgrounds in Santa Rosa on Franz Kafka Ave. It is 1,406 ft tall and took us approximately two hours to hike to the top and back again.

Elk Preserve at Tomales Point
So, I don't think I'm going to do this too often, but the hike from two Sundays ago is completely worth sharing. All of the photos are Dad's because of his aforementioned ability to zoom and take better pictures. The photos are from Tomales Point, which hosts an elk preserve in Point Reyes National Seashore.
So that was amazing. Like I said, I don't think I'm gonna do a ton of posts from from past hikes, but don't hold me to that. This hike, including a short walk down to the beach was about 10.5 miles.

Marin Headlands: Part 3
The following will be a conglomeration of my pictures and my dad's, and they're mostly going to be of the hilltop we found that overlooked San Francisco.
So that's the Marin Headlands hike. Total length: 11.5 miles. Including the two hours spent on our hill it lasted from about 8:45am to 3pm.
